Re: Kids and a Canon

Hi Karen, I don't do many people shots, so this is outside of my norm. I love the way the boy and the surrounding angels are each in their own world climbing the cannon. And for me, they are the subject, so I would have a version that is a much, much tighter crop of the five of them. And then apply ...

Re: Wheels Up

you have detail in the flying bird, emphasize it (I think). Perhaps make it a bird runway and add a couple more, one in the process of taking off and move the flyer a little to the right (mixed feelings about all that). I am troubled by the hard ugly green water to the front - but don't know what to...

Re: Help Me Figure Out Something To Do With This

WOW, that sounds so cool... The image fooled my eye completely into thinking it was a full sized very strange crowded little harbor.

Re: Help Me Figure Out Something To Do With This

That’s part of my problem. They look like a crowded harbor of ugly boats. There was nothing there in real life other than our rental car which would not have worked well either. A giant fox... y’all keep thinking. Or playing, even better.. you need Frank's beach girl sitting in the middle playing w...

Re: Help Me Figure Out Something To Do With This

Well a giant fox might be appropriate........ yeah, or Gulliver... The scene seems so real that I don't see the miniaturization. So something else has to be introduced to allow the scale to be felt. Re: Help Me Figure Out Something To Do With This

in this regard you and I are exact opposites. You like the kitchen sink, and all the time I find myself with a single spoon. It is weird...

Re: lanky young fox

LOL - AWESOME!!! I think we can all play with the fox. He won't bite. Here is what I came up with, had to add some light and mood and pulled the saturation down - went for moody - still don't know if it works, but here is my composite (with a dark trail into the marsh).youngFox2.jpg Wonderful! He l...

Re: lanky young fox

I just couldn't help myself, Piet. Just a rudimentary edit to set him in a forest in Ontario. He'll be nicer in his own forest, but this was great fun to try with. There's 100 possibilities for this treasure. You have him looking at you, you have all four feet, you have his full tail, you have both...
