Re: Suitable for a jigsaw puzzle

If you ever plan on making it to Flushing, let me know, I'll meet you there. Although we live on Long Island, my wife and I are both from Queens. And my wife still works in Flushing, 41 years at Flushing Hospital. How about we go for some Korean food?

Re: Suitable for a jigsaw puzzle

Your right Duck, I think it would make a great jigsaw puzzle. The only thing I would have done is pull the upper right about 1° to the right, the left tilt of that first building line bothers me a little. BTW, You should stop by around Main Street in Flushing, Queens, it looks just like that only mo...

Re: Setteling In

Bobby, I think the B&W is more powerful, I really love it. A quick story about bikers... back around 1970 I was traveling cross country with a friend in my 428 Mustang. One late evening the car started to sputter and have problems. We drove into a town and found the mechanic had closed for the d...

Re: Adirondack Chairs

Yes, I agree, that's why I'm questioning the dumb voting. When I do some voting myself a LOT of times I pass, because both shots are so bad I can't decide.

Adirondack Chairs

I put this shot up in my regular places, even though "I" was not thrilled with it, I thought it was "OK". Now it was pushed to the top of my 100+ images on one of the voting sites. Am I missing something? Is it the serenity or something? Maybe people are voting for it because the...

Re: Orchid macro

This is my kind of shot. I love close ups of beautiful flowers. My only opinion is twofold, 1) I think it needed to lighten up a hair, and 2) I'd get rid of blemishes that distract, top center and the 4 circles to the left of center, although they are part of the flower I think they distract the eye...
