Re: Monthly Masters' Discussion - October 2019 - Travel Photography - Eric's Hudson's Monhegan

I can appreciate this Monthly Masters' Discussion, only because of the recent past visit to the island. Loved almost every minute of the experience and will leave that for another discussion, but in the meantime I'll add one of my own from a different perspective.

Re: nuthatch

one of my favorite birds for their spunkiness. I like this shot for the added complexity from the vines that things that are on the tree. I like that the bird has a brighter area behind it where the tree wraps away - but the OOF there is distracting to me, I wish I had a bigger depth of field when ...

Re: Minne's NEW 2019 52

This week's theme - Unusual Perspective On Trap Day the lobster boats load regardless of tide, but at low tide are 20+ feet below the dock where I was in this shot. So they drop them down with a hand-cranked winch. This is Legacy, with its captain Sherm and its sternman Lauren. Most boats put in 30...

LOL, and I figured there was a reason that was slowly building that cause you stopped the bike, get off it, and stroll to the side of the deserted road. Clearl...

Re: 'Back in the Day'

This a composite of a 1920 Indian motorcycle taken at a local car show last week-end. I decided to place the bike on Route 66, taken in 2015, a favorite I have used on previous composites. The bike was already in a vintage state which seemed to help my post processing. I just roughed it up a little...
