Re: Got bored...

Tom, interesting set of images. I have to agree with Ceropegia, I think I like the colour one best of the bunch and that last one, well I wouldn't want to run into that guy in the dark, if you know what I mean :D .

Thanks Tom. For me, that is what IR is all about - getting a different look.

Re: My second 52, an assortment of images

Week 25 , "badlands" development along the Red Der River valley, central Alberta. This is a black and white conversion of a 590nm image taken with my converted 5D and a 24-105m L IS lens. Processing was done in Lightroom and Nik's Silver Efex Pro 2. The trees in the middle of the image ma...

Re: My second 52, an assortment of images

... This first image is, in my mind, a fitting start to this new 52 - sunrise on the prairies. It was shot, last Wednesday, in the farm fields north of the City. It is a 5 image HDR taken with my tripod mounted Canon 1D X and a 24-105mm L IS lens, using a remote shutter release. Processing was done...

Re: My second 52, an assortment of images

Week 24 , an infrared panorama. This image, actually three, was an experiment for me as it was something I had never tried before - an IR pano. My wife and I were out in the foothills, off-roading on some of the 4x4 trails and came upon a small open area with a 360 degree view of the surroundings, ...

Thanks Tom. Yup, given the price of new homes in our area, $CDN 500 thousand ±, it probably would be. It is a home in the country, so I probably couldn't afford it.

Re: My second 52, an assortment of images

Week 23 , another little house on the Prairie. Those of you who have seen some of my images over the years will know that I love to photograph old, abandoned farm buildings, barns, houses, etc. We were driving along a back road I hadn't traveled before and saw this old house. The interesting thing,...

I agree. I need to make a checklist and wear it around my neck. (Y) This old guys memory is starting to fail him on occasion.
