What an amazing sky in this! The undulating foreground makes me think of the wind stirring up the land just as it would the water in the sea.

That second image is particularly masterful and reminds me of so many scenes in the old bw film making genres. The light is so emphatically forcing you to look at her face and to keep it from wandering anywhere else. Awesome image!

I love what you've done with the shadows in many of these. And of course, I've always liked your processing style. My favourite is the 2nd image of the first post, with the shadows inviting you to see what's around the corner - much like what the New Year invites us to do.

Thanks to both of you for your comments. One of the things that I like about some architecture is the rhythm that you can see/feel in the repeating lines and patterns.

I get a sense of regret and of sad goodbyes. She seems to still feel a need to connect/touch the one that she is watching walk away. It's the sad end of a relationship.

You see this image the same way I do :)

Hi everyone Mario here. I was invited to join the forum by Tom a couple of weeks ago. I have been out of town visiting with family over the holiday break and have had a chance to do a bit of browsing. Thanks for the invite - it's always exciting to be near the start of something new!
