Of course - the St. Louis Cardinals - never made the connection :dunce: .

After having x-rays and an MRI on my knee, I talked to the doctor today about it. He went into doctor-speak when talking about it. Basically, I've got a partially torn ligament, scar tissue in several areas, and arthritis. He gave me sample packs of some expensive gel anti-inflammatory to put on it and scheduled me an appointment with a knee/joint guy to see what's next. Fun, fun!

When I got up this morning the pain in my knee was only a dull ache. I decided to try a hike at the Silver Mines Recreation Area.
I only made it a mile or so before the knee decided to start screaming. I did manage to grab some shots while I was out.

Lovely Shots Tom - I miss the colors of the Fall - here in our area most trees stay green all yr, only the imports from other countries seem to loose their leaves - around the mountainous area we get the colors but they are a long way away - love the map too - gives the shots identity - will look the area up on Google Earth :look:

I'm supposed to meet up with a co-worker, her daughter, and grandson for some outdoor fall photos.

Yesterday I had an opportunity to photograph two fantastic ladies and a hyperactive four-year-old. I discovered that it has been way too long since I've tried to shoot outdoor people shots. The boy was on the move so much that I gave up on my attempts at off-camera flash early. Still, we did have a lot of fun.

I managed to get my co-worker in front of the camera for a couple shots, but they were mostly of her daughter and grandson. I always have a great time when this little family comes around for photos.

I've got a bunch more (and hopefully better) shots to work on yet.
