I agree that it’s too OOF, but not all experiments succeed. Most of mine don’t! :)

A very touching story Minnie and your first image fills in any blanks there may be. Your second photo does fulfill the weekly requirements, but I'll have to agree with Frank ... too out of focus. Then again, it does give you an A+ with the wheel.
Dave
I did go too far OOF, but yeah, the wheel made me to it.

This week I got Abstracts. I'm gonna post two of them, because I had abstracts on my other 52 project site too, and it seemed unfair to use the same one for double duty. So here they both are, for the heck of it.

I call them Fire and Ice. Both are pretty much SOOC.

first one obvious and well done...second not so obvious but interesting, maybe a leaf frozen in water not that it matters.

The first one is crazy I know. I couldn't afford to add anything to it, it was already perverse enough. Is there such a thing as a kitchen sink abstract?

The second was a little more carefully contrived, with the thought being to make one wonder what's superimposed onto or recessed from what.

Thanks for opening yourself to us here. Means a great deal to me at this moment, as you might suspect. I agree re: too oof. But that's carping. It is emotionally dense because of their personal moment and yours. Each of the children is incomplete without the other. Beautifully conceived and done. Matt

First one is an eyeopener for me, Minnie. Not sure of needed improvements, its interesting just as it is. If y'all didn't pull over to capture the first one, it made for some quick thinking with mental reflexes to capture. The second one is quiet the opposite. Different and interesting but just not as much impact as the first,IMO. With the title "Fire and Ice", I agree they needed to be together.
