Took about 200 fireworks shots. But it was really more than that if you think about how I did it. Had the ISO on 100. F stop was 22. Camera was in bulb mode. I would hit the shutter with the remote (and keep it pressed until I had what I wanted) to activate the shutter. When the fireworks did what I wanted, I would cover the end of the lens with a black card to keep out any unwanted light. Then when another would go off, pull the card out of the way and repeat as much as I wanted. It is like compositing if you will but done all in camera without PS.
Thanks Tom. That is one of the cool things about night (dark ) photography. You can have the shutter pressed indefinitely as long as there is no light entering and you will have just a black photo. But once you enter light, it is permanent.
