Eric, nice shots. I really like the sunset. My only comment about the lighthouse is that I would have tried to set it up so the "house" wasn't sticking out of the bottom, or I would have taken it out in post-processing. That's just my 0.02¢ FWIW.

Thanks for your feedback. I was not too concerned about the little building. Possibly could have come around a little to create some Seperation. I wanted to include all the lighthouse buildings on site as well as the cottages to the right while staying in the shadow.

Week 18 / 52
After working a 72 hour week I was pretty keen to fill my need to press the shutter button and get wet. Danny was keen to be my model while testing an 8 axis WOO Airtime tracker and Height recorder. Quite a dull cold day for photography.
As for the Woo recorder Danny lodged 28 jumps largest was 9.4m high and hangtime of 5.6seconds.

Neat shots. Always good to have some down time, well actually "up-time". This is one activity that will definitely not make it onto my bucket list - I will leave this sort of thing for those much younger and stronger  .

Ditto that! :D plus, I don't have a fear of heights but that falling sensation is something else.

Week 19 / 52
Was not sure if I was going to fire a shot this week but missed the bus for work this morning and needed to drive in. So threw the camera in the car for the drive. Was a Lovely 2 degree morning with a full moon setting. Didn't have time to bother with a tripod so went with ISO 3200, f2.8, 1/800s for this 1st shot looking West across Whyalla with the lights of my work on the horizon top right corner. 50km away
1K6A1557.jpg

Turning around to the rising sun Allowed me to drop the ISO 1600 f2.8 1/100s
1K6A1573.jpg

Finally the only reason I still have a job is this these tugs still pull the Barges out to the Capeships to deliver the Ore to China. Envious job on mornings like this.
