Sometimes as portrait photographers we just fail. There is No Way your taking my picture today. ;-) We had to reschedule.

That's funny! Though I'm not a portrait photographer, I can still relate because of failed efforts with grandchildren. They get so darned silly clowning for me. Last spring my daughter in law decided to try a local portrait photographer hoping she could use her unfamiliarity to intimidate them into compliance. It didn't work. They were as stubborn as your young visitor.

You'll get her. I am confident of that. But I like these anyway. i bet the parents do too.

Ernst, I understand the humor you present on these, but seriously, the first one belongs in a museum on a wall. Without seeing her, I feel I know her. She has to but turn her head and I KNOW that she will look like I know she has to. Perhaps not planned, but that first shot has a rare Power and Energy and Life. Make sure her parents get to see it - it is pure Magic.
