Gorgeous. Fantastic. Stunning. Incredible tones. Almost looks cast in aluminum.

Trying to figure out the lighting on this: judging from the shadow of the bird on the water and the light and shadows on its head and neck, the sun looks to be about 10 AM on the left. If so, I don't know how you worked the magic on the body. The bird appears to be facing away but looking back over its right wing at the camera. Amazing. Thanks . Matt

Clean your glasses Matt, bird is facing me....not sure what time it was but sun was kinda overhead.......glad you liked it, thank you for comment...

Oh gosh Frank I love this one. I’ve never got so close to a blue. You were right in his face! Love the bird, the gobs of derailed water in front and the OOF water behind. Love the feather detail and the sharp bright yellow eye. Very nice.

Cleaner glasses won't help these aging eyes but cataract surgery will which the doctor has said is in my near future. We'll see. Matt

Yes Steve and they are common along our gulf coast as far as I know, I see them most every year...
