Sharks in the water

Post by Matt Quinn »

Sharks were spotted about 15-20 yards off shore on Nauset Beach on the Atlantic today, promoting the flying of the flag. Matt

Thanks Frank. Yes, I expected too much but thought the title would be enough. The wind was high and my shutter was slow, so the timing was difficult. Here's another. Matt

Agree with Frank. The second one you posted is clearer. I'm wondering if monochrome would speak louder still, then possibly some cropping (conversion would determine that) to keep simplifying the message?

Minnie, Frank,

How's this? I thought I should avoid my obsession with b&w for a moment when I first posted this. Anyway, did you notice the shark in the sky? This brings it out more clearly. The photo is too grainy for me, however. I tried dehazing it but with no satisfactory results.Thanks.

Does the signal differentiate between harmless and harmful sharks? S-
