Back to Fayerweather Light

Post by Duck » Sat Aug 24, 2019 8:20 pm

Fayerweather lighthouse is located not too far from me in Bridgeport, CT. This past Thursday I took the wife and grandkids out there for a morning/mid day hike to the spit of land that hosts the now inoperative lighthouse. This is one of the shots I got while out there. A nice panorama with a beautiful sky in the background (as you can see.)

Enjoy :)

This second panorama is created with 9 images in two rows (4 over 5) giving me a final resolution of 10,469x4982 pixels, or 52.1 megapixels. This from an 18mp camera. :D

This final shot was also my final shot of the day. My batteries died and I hadn't brought spares :(
As you can see, the lighthouse is small but it was a pleasant day overall. The kids jumped in the water as grandma and I sat in the shade of the lighthouse. :)
