treeline at sunset

across the marsh, trees border in inlet from the bay - I probably take a shot of it once a week or so. Just playing with it trying to make the sky and the trees look more painterly.

I understand the retakes! I do the same. The skies change as do the seasons, and that is my motivation to keep at it. The first is my favorite, as I like the variegated texture and color. The second has more power and it brings out the graphic nature of the wintery trees.

thanks Frank and Minnie, I thought the original too stark - but am glad to know that the rawness of it has it's place.
