It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed. As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery. Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers. |

A Cayman Islands Bank
I had always had images in my mind of the wealthy, sophisticated international folks who keep their laundered money in the Cayman Islands banks where no one can find it. So while in the Caymans for a day I went to see the nearest bank. Here is what I found there. Since the scene was less exciting than I anticipated, I fooled with it artistically by pasting it onto a shot of the plaster side of the building.
There are chickens everywhere - at the bank, in the stores, in the restaurants, on the beach.

You have composed the chicken very well with the person at the table Minnie. In a way it's quite comical, because the chicken appears to have an eye out for him in some way. I'm not caring much for the shot of the plaster. Seems too heavy, maybe reduce the opacity some? I do think it is a marvelous shot though.

Thanks Dave, I may try tinkering with the plaster a bit. You know I am a habitual experimenter.davechinn wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:37 pmYou have composed the chicken very well with the person at the table Minnie.
