Barkers Park, Cayman Islands
This is what a national park looks like in the Cayman Islands. Sort of.
It is actually a composite of four images that were all taken at the same spot but couldn't be caught in the same frame because of the angles and distance from each other. The chickens were running away from me, the woman was fishing too far from the bum in the hammock and the sky was blown when I shot the characters who were in shade. She was actually trying to get a big sting ray untangled from her line, this is near the place where people go on those "swim with the sting rays" tours.
So I took the four better shots from the same spot and messed with them together.
All feedback, or edits, welcome as always.

Thanks Frank. As with any composite, one of the worst tricks is the lighting, especially dappled light that is coming through trees. Once I found a good spot for those damned chickens, the rest was easier.

I created the composition but the chickens made the story. How can you not love chickens roaming a beach? They were everywhere! When I asked a local about island wildlife, he said, "Well, we have chickens..." He was right, they do!

Ha! Love it. My only complaint is that you didn't put a rooster in his lap. Seriously, I didn't spot it as a composite. Who would have guessed that the chickens could make it on their own?

If you and Frank can't find the seams easily, it must be better than my usual move-arounds! Thank you, and I'll consider a pet chicken for him, I took plenty of pictures of them because I'd never seen feral chickens before.PietFrancke wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 2:58 amHa! Love it. Stunning !!! I would have not known this to be a composite. Very nice work Minnie, I like everything you offered here.

Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.
