Very well constructed image that uses light, geometry and the repeating elements to great advantage. It's a different kind of leading line/vanishing point, created out of these building blocks to draw the eye through that nice reversed "C" curve into the distance.

A great image to use to teach compositional concepts.

The monochrome conversion ain't bad either...

That's terrific! It must have taken awhile to find the exact right spot to make those repeating elements align SO precisely, including the darts of sunlight on the bases of the columns. Really very well done! (OK)
