Well, the old lady who took it is almost always thinking about Andrew Wyeth when I'm in this old house; long before I ever picked up a camera, I heard Wyeth whispering to me about curtains and windows and corners and dark wood and old furnishings..

Glad you like it and so very glad you heard him too. I'm honored.

Your ability to make the viewer feel as if they were standing in the room amazes me minniev...well done
I only wish I said it sooner! I know exactly where that is and the texture makes it work! S-

Inspired by Minnie's corner office, here's a corner in our family room with a painting we bought on Cape Cod and flowers or daughter in law sent us for our 50th anniversary. Yes, those are the grandchildren.

Thank you Steve. I am glad to share House Images with someone who has met The House and got to know it.

Lovely, Matt. Now you should print this image and frame it and add it to the corner area.

One of the most eyecatching displays I have seen was a family room with a piano. Behind the piano was a painting of a woman sitting at the piano. In the painting there was a painting on the piano, of a woman sitting at the piano. In that painting was a picture of....and it went on.
