leaning to the darker I like the first a lot - Frank said it!!! Amazing soft texture

They are all lovely. The one you added (the "darker" one) is my favorite. Though the lighter ones are ethereal and intriguing, magnolias have so much rich contrast, I can't help but enjoy that darker one more. Well done! Keep having fun!

Thanks Minnie. The lighter ones were experiments to draw me away from the dark side momentarily, but that temptation is satisfied for the moment. I have some photos from a few days later when the magnolia was fading that I will look at today. Matt
