And Santa is there to pick up something - possibly a shipment of iphones he'll be needing for next month.

I don't mind the postal service guy being blurred because it conveys his haste and movement. Everybody else is caught in the act of what they are doing, so it works. A different way would have been to pan and get the USPS guy in focus and everyone else blurred. I'm not good at panning so I'd have done it your way. Good shot.

Thanks Minnie. The story; I wandered while Maureen shopped and stopped across the walkway from the Apple store thinking it was worth a few shots. I saw white beard way in the back and waited for him to come forward. When he did, I focused on him and was about to shoot when I saw the usps guy heading that way. The M is manual focus and I couldn't change fast enough so I made a quick decision that white beard et al were more important and hoped for something with the usps fellow that would not be terribly blurred. And when I saw the pic on my iMac, I thought the motion blur was better than clarity in this context. I take what is given; often it is better than what I want. Matt

I agree. This works great because it emphasizes the lack of action inside while the USPS guy is hustling.
Nice job for a last second decision.

Matt, this is quite nice for a street photo. There is contrast in both the lighting and the motion. Bright inside, not so in the walkway in front. Likewise, contact in action from almost none inside to motion with a purpose in the walkway.

Thank you, Bob. Coming from a street guru, that is high praise. Matt
