Pretty much what Bobby has said, however I would add that to me the eyes, particularly in the re-edited version are starting to look almost like they are plastic. I think for a first attempt at portraiture you have done well, yes there could be some improvements while shooting (like with the composition as Bobby mentioned), however I think the main issues with this image revolve around post production as to be honest I didn't notice anything beyond it. Working on skin is a big learning curve, and I'm not personally a fan of any processes that smooth the skin in a way that looks like blurring (which from these low res versions is how it looks to me). A good solid effort though.
