Perfecting your Head Shots - The Fundamentals of Lighting

In this session we will focus on the fundamental dynamics of the lighting and posing. We will explore the dimensional factors of ratios of key lights to fill and the use of kickers and hair lights to create shape and dimension of detail in our head shots. We will further explore how through the use of light we can effectively create a foreground, mid ground and background in our head shot frames to produce truly dimensional results. Through this exploration of lighting fundamentals we shall discover how we can use lighting to alter the perception of shape in a persons face
