A well spotted catch, I'd have had to shoot it too. Nicely composed with an angle that makes it more interesting and easier to read, including enough context to help us understand what we're seeing. The processing isn't what I'd have chosen but it's well done. My own interpretation would have probably led me to a less harsh approach with more sculpting of the light to emphasize the shoes rather than the rocks. That's not to say you should do that of course, just sharing my personal interpretation of the scene.

I like it as is. I don't disagree with Min's critique, but I like the brightness of your unique processing, which I'm thinking is a bit of a signature. I also never see anything to quarrel with in Min's stuff, and now Duck has just published a piece on some of the wild and crazy approaches one can take to a single picture. Funny thing is, this picture also makes me a little sad despite its bright, cheerful colors. Go figger. (I guess I get a mental picture of the fella who discarded those flops.)
