good shot! Looks like you were able to get pretty close. That thing sitting on your shoulder would be a good composite!! LOL, I like his colorful beak and feathers a lot!

This a wonderful hawk image. I have never got one that could be presented this large. He's a real gem.

I'd probably tone the leaves down some. I know they are lime-tinted this time of year but they sort of take attention from the beautiful subject who is so nicely caught in the perfect angle. I might also see if I could de-shadow the eye without making a terrific mess of it. Hawks have such lovely eyes.

As Piet says, he is a great subject to do a composite with, either creative or just artistic where you get him loose from some of the background and blend him into a nice texture.

Great shot, Frank. If he's a neighbor now, look for him often!
