Romance Gone Sour

Post by minniev » Thu Mar 28, 2019 8:21 pm

The gentleman came on a bit too brazenly and the lady fled. There was a witness, but he appears unmoved by the drama.

I've cropped a bit, so if you think any side needs more real estate, tell me, there is some in each quadrant.

Cute, but the white bird in the background adds too much clutter. Any way of cloning him/her out? It would make the story just about the two birds rather than having the third wheel in there. ;)

I love the background on this. Almost looks like one of those expensive hand painted canvas drops.

I thought about cloning out the egret and may try it to see how it seems without him, it doesn’t look too hard.

The backgrounds with all that rushing water are always interesting. The only thing I did was drop a layer of peach color over it at, blend with soft light, mask it out, and paint in splats of it at a very low opacity, to enhance what was already there.
