Minnie, The wood looks too yellow for me, but the may be its real tone. I am used to the grays here on the Cape from all the salt air. Like the composition; it confirms some that I have taken and gives me support. Thanks. Matt
I'm wondering too, is it my eyes or does the depth of field fall off on the left of the handle so it's out of focus? S-

Thanks Matt. It has a coat of yellow-green “something” (lichen maybe? Not moss), growing on the wood, which makes it not quite gray. No salt air to bleach it, here stuff grows on everything in the moisture. We turn back into swamp very quickly if we don’t put up a fight all the time.

I fear you are right sir, and I may have to crop it. Always appreciate your sharp eyes.

It makes me feel cross-eyed, but I'm going blind so I'm never sure if it's me or the image. I hope it helps! S-
