Plastic Flowers

Post by pop511 »

Yeah I know..Gonna get into a lot of trouble with this.
Not having any fresh flowers around the house I took some pictures of plastic bloomers with Kenko lens extenders.
Behind one bunch there is a statue of a dancer. So I thought Hmmm.. :D :D
Have fun

I like this! I don't care if the flowers are plastic, it's still a cool execution. Love the controlled color palette. You are right to include the statue, she makes the image. I like the first one best, with its soft dreamy look.

Intriguing work that can be turned into dozens of variations with different levels of painterly approaches.

Not sure why these flowers are so grainy. Maybe I should have converted to srgb 8bit Before posting?
Also the white balance changed between shots.

Only the flowers show as a little grainy. Maybe their actual texture? Or a composite with the flowers at a grainier camera setting or editing?

As for WB, could you have exported one in a color space other than sRBG? That'll do it every time.

I considered them reasonable artistic choices...
