In suspense
This is how I feel right now, with my first exhibit coming up in two weeks, and utterly lacking confidence and lacking knowledge of how to pull it off.

I see a person making a great leap of faith!

Friends call me Chuck.

(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)
There is no light like back light. No, really.

I see that branch falling - it doesn't look suspended though granted, suspense as in waiting to crash on the ground, it looks like a definition of gravity. Love the textures on this and the leaves upper left to give this context. The branch falls - Minnie however is a bird that flies. She can defy gravity!!

It is a great leap, but the faith is very lacking. I am expecting nothing but disaster to befall me for daring to step into this circle of fire.

It is actually suspended by monofilament line left over from an errant cast by some fisherman that snagged the branch.
Thanks, glad you liked my little diversion from my own anxiety!

Unique and interesting, with all kinds of possible interpretations. Love Piet's "we got to know you before you were famous." Break a leg, Minnie!

Minnie, Jitters before a performance , I am told, is a good sign. Not sure I believe it. Anyway, your photos will do the work as they have on this site, UHH and your portfolio for the exhibit. This is a stunning image. When I grow up, I want to be like Minnie. Remind me; when is the show? (The image conveys "dancing" to me; you should be.) Good luck. Matt

Glad it was interesting. A dalliance to take my mind off my troubles.

Definitely pre-performance jitters, you're right (raw fear).I like the comparison to dancing. I, of course, saw the long thin legs of egrets, whom I often accuse of dancing.
