A different kind of Christmas image, but the wish is still the same ....... Merry Christmas to All!

(This is probably the closest "selfie" I will ever produce)

What kind of lens is Bob holding in his hand?

No cheating... I'll give the answer below.

[spoil]A biconvex lens. This type of lens has a convex surface on two sides, where the light enters (the subject side) and where the light leaves (the sensor side).[/spoil]

Actually, it's not a lens at all. It's a glass globe I received from Wachovia when I did some database work for them.

Well, not a "lens" in the formal manner, but you are using it as lens in this image. You are capturing the Christmas tree refracted through it. ;)
