Desert of time ran
Seeking and devouring prey
My skin has left me
.
Exuvia,
soft, fat from easy feeding
carcass left behind
like silk stockings on the bed

This one, which I spotted on the Awake site and knew was yours, is just gorgeous. This type processing of critter pictures is your creative standard, recognizable anywhere as your own signature work.

I love this and want you to tell more about what you did here because I have no idea. But from a design perspective it is pleasing, the color palette is great, and it's intriguing to explore the details of.

The poetry ain't bad either.

She's translucent. But she doesn't appear to be dead. She appears to be charging towards me as a ghost of spiders past. With a little adaptation you could mount a warrior maiden on her back and make a fearful beast of her.

(Love this poem best!)

Exuvia is an awesome word, sounds like a name. I never knew till a few years ago that spiders molted - crawled out of their skins.
