Minnie, this is actually an incredibly interesting photograph. I like it a lot. --Bob Oh, and good fortune with your exhibit. I hope it goes well.

Excellent image that tells an interesting story of defeat, but that would be the first page of the story. The second page and beyond would show/tell of a bird/animal picking up the tree branch to make a very powerful nest or other uses and there would be victory. I have confidence in your ability and knowledge and think you will do just fine with the exhibit. Pick that broken branch up Minnie and build a powerful nest for your upcoming event. Dave

Thanks Dave. I could resist playing with that suspended branch, and it seems a fit metaphor for my state of mind.

Your branch reminds me of this ever popular kanji tattoo symbol representing Strength. It is rather apropos, if I don't say so myself.

Thanks, Duck! I sure need a dose of strength. The exhibits coordinator who was going to shepherd me through this is out for 3 months with a knee injury, the assistant coordinator is out on vacation, and the dear lady I'm assigned to knows less than I do about how to make the posters that need to be made. The printing did not go as well as I'd hoped. And there are a hundred other things wrong. I'm headed to babysit three wild little boys till Sunday, so we'll see what happens in the interim. Running away from home is an attractive option.
