Minnie, I can smell that photo. Is it my eyes or does the it lean to the left? Or is that the good earth doing its MS early morning slip and slide? I will be with you all in spirit and mind, not body which will be, hopefully, recovering at Cape Cod. Matt
Anything I post could conceivably be leaning! I think this may be an illusion though - the house is on a slight “rise” as we call it, and it slopes downward on this (and the other) side. The uneven and windy road in adds to the confusion. And yes, there is the smell of wet summer dirt and green things, along with mint which grows alongside.

When you get well, you will still be welcome!

Just for kicks here is a shot from sunrise this morning at the MS potential host location. I’m willing to go anywhere (and Steve’s suggestion is very photo-rich one in fall, as is my alternate at Colorado’s Maroon Bells/ Estes Park area)

I’ve created a WiFi hotspot out here in the boondocks with a phone that hasn’t enough service to make a call, connected via my ipad, which is where I downloaded the photos from this morning and edited them. More in another thread later.
Just before the blackberries! Love it! S-
Yes. I cut the path to the blackberries with the four wheeler yesterday They don’t look as good as the blueberries but it is too early to give up on them. They may come ‘round.

I know I'm stepping in but the land leans to the left with the house at the end of the drive. Recover well! S-

Step in whenever. Just don't step in it. Was checking these eyeballs here; stuff has been wobbly gobbly with all these drugs. But am on the mend. So things will start to even up, I hope. Thanks. Matt

What, we have the option of voting people off the island? I did not know this!

Sheesh Dave, as if we'd exclude you. Perish the thought!

Well, my situation is changing somewhat. My funds have depleted and I may not have a chance to get to New Orleans. However, I can travel locally so here is my thought...

Matt is on the mends from his recent successful bout with the big C. If he is up to it, I would love to drive up for the weekend and have our own meetup while Minnie and Dave do their thing down in New Orleans. Maybe do a long distance shared event of some type and compare notes here. Or have a skype session?

How about it Matt, are you up for some company in Sept? I'm sure there are a few B&B places nearby. I'll even see if I can talk the wife into joining us so the ladies can have something to do while we play with the cameras. :D

Let me run this past the bride. We have had company for the past two weeks, with our older son and family leaving tomorrow, The bride will now scour the house, with me in tow, to return it to the pristine conditions to which she has become accustomed. She has longed to return to our quiet and unscheduled life.

That said, I would LOVE to do it. There are two B&Bs right down the street from our house. And you would promise to high heaven not to lead me into any temptation to do anything dangerous. My balance is two bubbles off plumb, so she doesn't trust me out of her sight.

She is shopping now and I will reply as soon as she calms down. Matt
