Dave, I don't know to talk about the technical stuff here, but I am out of my socks with your capture of the personality of these two. And that's what's important. She giggles and he keeps on coming on. Great stuff. Love the swapping of the beret. Your suggestion ? Cool. Did I say great stuff? Yes, great stuff. This is what cameras are for. Matt

Week #10 of Project 52. This week I made a visit to The James A. Ramage Civil War Museum here locally. I knew of this location, but have never been inside. The reason of my visit was to capture the cannon on display in front of the building. Not sure if it's real or a replica. Either way here it is along with a composite.

Love that composite with its crazy tilt.

Cannon are like mice, they are great fodder for composites!

Week #11 and I'm falling behind. So much that I'm beginning to get confused on which week I'm on, even though I thought I was keeping track.

This week, which was actually last week, maybe, I was in Dayton, Ky searching for subject matter to photograph. I came across the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). What caught my attention was the art work on the outside of the building. Here is a front view and one side view of the building.

Number 13 and not on a roll, but maybe next week since Cincinnati's baseball opening day parade will be Monday. Always has been a fun experience, with a large variety of photo opts.

This one caught my eye as I was at a traffic light. Afterwards I drove around the block in order to park, get out of the car and capture a better shot, but he was nowhere to be found.

Isn't it amazing how a beautiful work of art can make you feel something?

What a great character! You've proved once again that it is ALWAYS best to go on and get the shot, then look for better versions of it, rather than putting off a capture to wait for the perfect shot.
