Had first of 20 radiation sessions today. The first shows the mask from the rear. It was molded to my head earlier in the week. I lie on the table with my head on the blue foam, looking up. They strap the helmet on my face and latch it down securely so I won't wiggle, take some photos for alignment, then shot from the left for 10 seconds, then from the right for 10 and it's done. I can keep the mask at the end, if I want. Something for the mantle?

The second photo shows what I will look like at the end.

We see oncologist tomorrow to review findings of lumbar puncture and set a plan of treatment. Feeling very positive and optimistic. Great support from family and friends here and on pM. Thanks. Matt
